Alexander Rabkin, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Rabkin grew up in Newton and received his Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) in Neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Following graduation, he pursued his dream of becoming a dentist. He received his DMD at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, followed by an intensive one-year general practice residency at Hartford Hospital. After completing his residency, he moved back to the Boston area. Dr. Rabkin frequently takes continuing education courses to learn the latest techniques and procedures to provide his patients the best comprehensive care possible. His passion for dentistry shows through his kindness, compassion, and commitment to educating and improving the oral health of every patient. Dr. Rabkin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In his free time, he is an avid Boston sports team enthusiast, and enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing sports.

S. Faheem Rasool, DMD, MMSc.

Prosthodontist (Restorative Specialist)

Dr. Rasool completed his dental training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He was awarded a Masters of Medical Science Degree (MMSc.), a certificate in the specialty of prosthodontics and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) He was a full-time Harvard faculty member for nine years, and was promoted to the rank of Head of the Division of Prosthodontics. During this tenure, he lectured extensively both nationally and internationally in addition to being one of the foremost clinicians in the Faculty Group Practice. Committed to excellence in clinical care and prioritizing his family needs, Dr. Rasool transitioned to private practice and continues his commitment to teaching at Harvard on a part-time basis.Dr. Rasool is a member of numerous professional organizations. He is currently a consultant to the Accreditation Commission of the American Dental Association and the editorial board of TalkSurgery.com . He is also a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, is on the research review committee of the American College of Prosthodontists and on the Board of the Harvard Odontological Society.

Neda Shah-Hosseini, DMD, CAGS

Prosthodontist (Restorative Specialist)

Following her studies at at the University of California, Irvine, where she majored in Chemistry, Dr. Shah-Hosseini entered the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she graduated cum laude with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and with numerous awards and honors. She then completed a two-year general practice residency at Boston’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital where she gained expertise in the treatment of medically compromised patients, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in prosthodontics at Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she earned a certificate in the specialty of prosthodontics.Dr. Shah-Hosseini is currently a faculty member of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Harvard Odontological Society.

Constant C. Crohin, DMD, MMSc.

Periodontist (Gum Specialist)

Dr. Crohin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in Molecular Biology and then matriculated to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD), and a Masters of Medical Sciences (MMSc.) degree. He then decided to continue at Harvard pursuing further studies in the specialty of periodontics.Dr. Crohin provides various non-surgical and surgical approaches to treating gum disease, as well as implant placements, bone and gum graft replacements. He is a strong advocate of improving patients’ oral health and actively educates in areas such as proper oral hygiene and smoking cessation. He teaches peridontology and dental implant placement as a part-time clinical faculty member at Harvard University. He is a active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology and the Harvard Odontological Society.

Anne L. Wucherpfennig, DMD, PhD

Endodontist (Root Canal Specialist)

Dr. Wucherpfennig completed general dental training as well as a PhD in Anatomy ‘magna cum laude’ at the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany, before moving to the United States. She held several research appointments at the University of Michigan and at the Forsyth Institute in Boston, studying the cellular and molecular mechanisms of bone formation and resorption. She returned to full time clinical practice in 2002 after earning a certificate in the specialty of Endodontics at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and two years of advanced dental training at Harvard Dental School. Dr. Wucherpfennig brings her expertise and skills in oral diagnosis, endodontics (root canal therapy) and microscopic dentistry to the practice.

Michele Crohin, DMD, MMSc

Periodontist (Gum Specialist)

Dr. Crohin is a graduate of Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) and a certificate of General Practice Residency (Brigham and Women's Hospital) in 1998. She received a Masters of Medical Sciences (MMSC) and completed her periodontal training at HSDM in 2001. Dr. Crohin has been Board Certified in Periodontics since 2008 and recertified in 2014. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Massachusetts Dental Society and the Harvard Odontological Society.Dr. Crohin is an experienced surgeon providing various nonsurgical and surgical approaches to treating gum disease, as well as dental implant placement, bone and gum grafts. She welcomes new patients for consultation or treatment

Michael G Curtin, DDS (Retired)

General Dentist

Dr. Curtin graduated from Boston College magna cum laude with a degree in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Georgetown School of Dentistry. Dr. Curtin has been in practice for over 30 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. In his free time he enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
