Cosmetic Dentistry - REJUVENATING YOUR SMILE
Even the loss of one tooth can result in the tipping, drifting and erupting of neighboring and opposing teeth. The loss of several teeth can result in the inability to chew and speak effectively. It can also lead to the collapse of your bite causing stress on your jaw joints, facial muscles and a reduction in the vertical dimension of your face. This can create an older facial appearance with noticeable facial lines.
VENEERS - Custom crafted tooth laminates
In just two or three dental visits, a veneer can reverse years of stains caused by foods, caffeine and tobacco use. Special thin laminates, called veneers, can often be used to correct discolored, worn down, cracked and chipped teeth. Veneers can also be used to close unsightly gaps between teeth.
An impression of the tooth must be made and a veneer molded by a lab technician. Because veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, they are permanent and non-reversible. The process involves buffing the tooth, removing an extremely thin layer of the tooth to allow for the thickness of the veneer, an impression of the tooth, and final bonding of the veneer to the tooth with special cement. A special light is used to complete the process.

TooTH WHITENING - Whiter teeth in about an Hour
We offer a professional teeth whitening procedure that can dramatically improve the look of your smile in just about an hour. If you’ve been thinking about having your teeth whitened, don’t delay! The longer stains remain, the harder they are to remove. Plus, those of us with stained teeth tend to brush more vigorously; this can remove the enamel from your teeth, causing further discoloration and serious dental problems.
Teeth whitening offers a very effective solution against yellow or stained teeth caused by consumption of tobacco or tea, coffee, red wine or other foods and beverages. Many people see a noticeable difference after only one whitening session. A teeth whitening process may take longer if the tooth stains are dark brown or bluish gray.
If you are getting your teeth whitening here in the office, a series of steps will take place. First, we’ll examine and clean your teeth, removing any plaque that has built up along the gum line. Then, a protective covering will be placed over your gums to protect the soft tissue from the bleaching agent. Then, we will apply the whitening gel to your teeth.
The process will take approximately 1.5 hours and you will see results after your first visit with us. It is important to remember that most dental work such as crowns, bridges or white fillings cannot be lightened with bleaching gel. Therefore, if you whiten your teeth you will need to have any visible dental work redone so all teeth are the same color.
